Light and nature come to life Claude Monet repeatedly visited the same locations for his landscapes or made extensive series in one place. So he made numerous paintings while traveling on the coast of Normandy, in the Dutch Zaandam or in London and Venice. He was not interested in picturesque sights, but light and weather phenomena and their various effects on these places. In his places of residence such as Paris, Argenteuil, Vétheuil and Giverny, he also gained motifs from the everyday environment, such as parks, gardens and water lilies, with which he continued to explore light and color. A magnificent illustrated book for everyone who loves Impressionism and French painting.
